Biographie

Hugo Winckler dedicates his practice to commercial law, real estate law and international business law. He practices mediation.

He has developed a strong activity both in business litigation (civil construction law, insurance law, liability litigation, business criminal law, collective proceedings litigation) and in consulting (mainly in the field of business transfers and the organization of groups of companies).

He has also developed a strong activity in supporting foreign investors to France, and mainly Chinese groups, whether in advising on the structuring of investments or on international mobility issues for investors and their families.

He has also developed a practice relating to mental control and the fight against sectarian excesses. He is president of the Roger Ikor Center Against Mental Manipulations and is a member of the scientific council of the FECRIS (European Federation of Research and Information Centers on Sectarianism). He is the author of a book “The law at the service of victims of sectarian excesses” published by L'Harmattan.

His approach to mediation and amicable methods of dispute resolution stems from the assumption that, through a thoughtful method of negotiation, it is possible to get out of many conflict situations from the top. He mainly intervenes in conflicts between associates or business partners.

Hugo Winckler is a lecturer in international trade law at the University of Paris-Saclay.
